  A Shift in Inquiry - go where you're led LIBE 477/ /Assignment 1// Part B    Rationale My research led me down many rabbit holes. It’s unique for a university course to be so broad with their research requirements; the freedom was helpful as I could really let my interest guide me. For instance, I realized right away that “collaborative publishing” which I had thought might be an interesting concept to study was both not at all what I thought it was (in definition) and surely did not pique my interest. On the other hand, searching through our course suggested texts led me down some trails of topics that I had not even heard of. Fascinating. A large component in my rationale for choosing the resources below was their relevancy. Resources found that were published earlier than 2010 were disregarded as technology has evolved and expanded so vastly within the last decade as has the way we use it.   Diving Into Inquiry LIBE 477/ /Assignment 1// Part A  There are a few interests, opportunities, and even issues I anticipate will arise in the near future. Mirroring the Covid 19 school shut down we experienced in the spring, I anticipate that technology may once again become our main mode of lesson delivery or if schools remain open, I see technology becoming more readily used in the classroom setting as teachers feel more confident using it (having been forced to use it in the spring). This shaped my practice because, as a more tech-savvy staff member at my school, I became a hybrid of chief online lesson designer, 24/7 tech support, and pro-d facilitator as I taught teachers how to teach online. Although that propelled my confidence, since we are back in brick-and-mortar classrooms, not all the skills I developed are applicable. In my current practice as a Teacher Librarian, I would like to widen my practice to include more areas of expertise then I currently boast. I have just e
